I’m thankful that I do. I was swept away to one of those places last week. The island of Kauai. Peaceful and beautiful.
What’s truly important to me are my faith and family. And to take time to remember the gratefulness I feel for all that has been created by God.
As you know, I’m not a photographer but there were moments while I was there that inspired me as an interior designer.
The depth of color….
Unique shapes….
The soft texture of moss under my toes….
That Teal blue ….. amazing……
The many hues of blue everywhere……
I can see all these elements in a home. Beautiful, colorful, cozy, unique…….

And of course, I loved spending time with this husband of mine……after 32 years, we still love spending time together. (well, most of the time!)
And spending time with our youngest son, Ryan, and his sweet wife, Christine was wonderful.
They’re expecting their first baby soon. His name is Van Ryan. We can’t wait ’til he arrives.
We cherished this time alone with these two.
We love this island and can’t wait to come back.
I’m very thankful that I’m able to visit often.
