When our clients asked for a space where their love of music could be combined with their love of watching movies as a family, we jumped at the opportunity! Our favorite spaces to create are the kind that bring people together. Not just physically, but places that draw people in, places that create a deeper quality of life. Families grow and change and there’s something so special about being intentional in each stage of life. With two teenagers at home, it was important to create a space for their family to spend time, but also a place where their kids wanted to be. So, we created the comfiest place we could: a sofa to sink in to, two ottomans to kick your feet up, and two blue recliners (for the lucky people that get to them first). Blackout curtains in robins egg blue were placed over the windows and at the entrance to really give the room a theater feel! Hanging on the walls are records from our client’s career in the music industry, and their guitars and amps are easily accessible in the corner!
We are so just so pleased with the way it turned out and look forward to the years they’ll spend enjoying it and the countless movies they’ll watch there!
