Light and bright spaces are always in style. Who doesn’t love easy blues, warm walls and pops of white? Everyone dreams of opening their doors to a cool breeze and a view–and this space is every bit of that!
When our client approached us, she was dreaming of a welcoming space to sit with her family and enjoy, a space that would flow together and coordinate nicely. We created two seating areas, but both equally inviting. Separated by a fireplace, the spaces are perfect for entertaining.
We used warm creams and tans and popped a fun blue in houndstooth on the centered ottoman. We love circling four comfortable chairs around an ottoman…it creates the perfect space for conversation.
In the living room area, we placed two comfy sofas for guest to sink into. Two large custom ottomans were used in place of a coffee table to make the space a little more cozy.
We thought that it was so neat that our client proudly displays their father’s helmet and certificate from his time as the assistant fire chief! It’s always fun when we’re able to use pieces that are significant to our clients when designing.
Nothing says “light & bright” like white orchards. These beauties look lovely from every angle and help pop some fresh green adding more life to spaces.
