Today we’re hijacking the blog to brag about Kathy!

Not everyone is blessed to be able to go to work everyday and do something they really love. Because of Kathy, we get to do just that. She has built something so unique and we’re not the only ones who see it. Countless clients have remarked on what a wonderful and joyful working environment Kathy has created (some even say they want to just come and hang out in our office!).

Kathy is the type of boss who isn’t afraid to take a step back and let her designers shine. She’s a cheerleader to all of us, and it seems she finds more fulfillment in seeing us succeed than in her own success. Her constant encouragement, support and joyful demeanor create an environment where everyone is comfortable to be their creative (and silly) selves.

When it comes to design, Kathy starts every project the same way. The minute the initial consultation is complete, she goes straight to the fabric room. She always emerges with the most amazing combinations of color and texture. She has a knack for finding the perfect fabric for each element. From linen blends that make the perfect drapes , to durable yet soft upholstery fabric for a sofa, Kathy can always find just the right fabric.
