When you are the owner of an interior design company, your home is never off limits. Yes, we have a warehouse. Yes, it is fully stocked (overflowing actually). But somehow with every install, my home always ends up pillaged! In fact, the day this room was scheduled to be photographed we had to replace 3 or 4 different items because they’d been taken for another install. Don’t get me wrong, it’s flattering really and I wouldn’t have it any other way. But because it’s always evolving, constantly being pulled from and added to, giving this room it’s own little makeover is something I have been looking forward to for a long time!
This project came together so easily! It’s no secret that I love a true navy blue and there were several fabrics that I had my eyes on, waiting for the perfect way to combine them. I just love the combination of fabrics on the chair. They turned out exactly as I had envisioned! The various pillows on the striped couch add just the right amount of texture and life. I really couldn’t be more excited with how it turned out.
